What if I have a vacation scheduled?
When submitting your Affidavit, you can request your vacation time off by supplying the dates, signing and dating the form. If you plan a vacation after you have submitted your form, you may call the Clerk of District Court's Jury office at (307) 235-9247 and request to be excused during vacation times.

How do I get excused for a medical condition?
If you have a medical condition which precludes you from serving as a juror, we request you ask your doctor for a short statement indicating your inability to serve. We do not need to know the type of condition or any medical information, only that you are unable to serve.

What if my job takes me out of town or I work out of town?
You are notified one week in advance in order to notify your employer and adjust your schedule.

Who do I notify if I change my address or phone number?
Call the Clerk of District Court Jury office at (307) 235-9247.

Can I be excused for being a full-time student?
No.

You are excused until the time you return for summer or Christmas break.

How do I get excused for school finals?
Call the Clerk of District Court Jury office (307) 235-9247 and explain your schedule. We will do everything in our power to work around your finals.
