[ARCHIVED] Absentee Voting for the 2022 Elections begins July 1, 2022

Absentee ballot requests are being accepted for the 2022 Elections. 

  • Primary Election is August 16, 2022
    •   Absentee Voting starts July 1, 2022
  • General Election is November 8, 2022
    •   Absentee Voting starts September 23, 2022

In Wyoming, any qualified elector may vote by absentee ballot. Voters can vote an absentee ballot:

  • In person at the Elections Office at 200 N. Center St., Room 154 from July 1, 2022 through August 15, 2022 during normal business hours for the Primary Election.

  • By requesting an absentee ballot be mailed to you and returning the ballot to the County Clerk's Office by 7:00 pm on Election Day.
  • By requesting an absentee ballot online and returning the ballot to the County Clerk's Office by 7:00 pm on Election Day.
  • Absentee ballots can be returned in person or by mail to the County Clerk's Office but cannot be accepted at the polling places.

Wyoming's Voter ID Law

Effective July 1, 2021, Wyoming voters will be required to show an acceptable form of identification when voting in person. There are many ID options for you to use to prove your identity.  Visit the Wyoming Secretary of State's Office website for more information on this law.
