WYDOT Projects in Natrona County

The following is a list of WYDOT projects around Natrona County starting this Spring.  Items will be updated as more information becomes available.  Each of these projects will impact traffic; mostly though lane and speed reductions.

  • U.S. 20/26/87(Old Glenrock Highway):  Mill, level and overlay, between mileposts 183.72-187.89, at Hat Six Intersection.  This will be a pavement mill/overlay job that will likely be done in sections - so one lane either direction through the intersection.  Work is expected to begin mid-June.
  • Wyoming Blvd/12th Street: Intersection reconstruction and water main replacement.  No start date.
  • WYO 220: Mill and overlay between Wyoming Blvd. and Robertson Road.  One lane closure, either direction.  There will be some crossover work where left turn lanes are being paved.  However, business access will remain open.  Work begins April 3.  Expected to be mostly completed mid-summer.
  • Wyoming Blvd. near Ft. Caspar Bridge Rehabilitation: This work replaces expansion joints, expansion rail upgrades, concrete repairs.  Work will take place on one side of the bridge at a time, with one lane open, either direction.  No timeline for work yet.
  • Shoshoni Bypass:  Work began March 20 on surfacing and bridge rehabilitation, westbound lanes.  Traffic reduced to one lane, westbound.  This work is similar to what was completed on the eastbound lanes last season.
